The difference between the Refrigerated Air Dryer and the adsorption dryer
Refrigerated Air Dryer and the adsorption dryer, the difference between words, may be a world of difference. As the saying goes, "The difference is a thousand miles, and it takes thousands of miles." Please also pay attention to the difference between the two (dry dryer and dryer) at the time of purchase.
1. No compressed air consumption: Most users do not have high requirements for compressed air dew point. For example, using a dryer can save energy by using a dryer.
2. No valve wear: The suction dryer has the problem of switching valves. Although there are valve parts in the dryer, there is basically no wear problem;
3. It is not necessary to add or replace the adsorbent regularly;
4, the operation noise is low; the suction dryer has the noise of the adsorption tower pressure relief, in the air pressure room, generally can not hear the running noise of the dryer;
5, daily maintenance is relatively simple, as long as the automatic drain filter can be cleaned on time;
6. The pre-treatment requirements for the gas source are not high, and the general oil-water separator can meet the requirements of the air-drying machine for the intake air quality;
Compared with the adsorption dryer, the "pressure dew point" of the compressed air after treatment by the cold dryer can only reach above 0 °C, so the drying depth of the gas is far less than that of the suction dryer.
Classified by adsorbent regeneration method:
There are two types of adsorption dryers.
Mainly can be divided into non-heat regeneration adsorption dryer and thermal regeneration adsorption dryer. Since the non-thermal adsorption dryer is operated according to isothermal adsorption, it is also called “pressure swing adsorption”. The thermal adsorption dryer is operated by isobaric adsorption, also called “temperature swing adsorption”. In actual use, there is also a micro-heat dryer. Formally, the micro-heating regenerative dryer also warms the regeneration gas, but because it uses a regeneration gas, it is dry from its own low water content. Air, so it is also a "pressure swing adsorption" dryer.
