The service life of air compressor oil is generally 2000-4000h, but if you do not pay attention to the following four factors during use, the service life of the lubricant will be shortened and the replacement cycle will be accelerated.
The quality of the lubricating oil: the quality of the air compressor oil itself will directly determine the period of its use. The humidity of the air: the humidity of the air, that is, there is water in the natural air. If the humidity in the air is larger, the more water enters the air compressor with the air. If the water is mixed with the lubricating oil, the deterioration of the lubricating oil will be accelerated, which will affect its service life.
Impurity pollution: This mainly includes dust impurities that enter with natural air, and abrasive impurities that are generated by friction inside the air compressor. These impurities can contaminate the lubricant and cause it to fail.
Irritant gas: If the air compressor uses an irritating gas such as acid or alkali or vulcanization, these gases will be sucked into the compressor when the air compressor is running, which directly affects the working performance of the lubricating oil and causes its use. Short life.
