Common causes of fire of air compressor
1.The maintenance of the air compressor is not thorough enough. The leakage of joints and pipe fittings in the oil system leads to more oil pollution inside the machine. When the electrical components are short-circuited and catch fire, oil pollution aggravates the combustion and is likely to cause explosion
2.Air filter effect is not good, the air is full of dust easy to form carbon accumulation;The adsorption effect of molecular sieve decreases and hydrocarbon enters the subsequent distillation column.
3.Trouble in filling pump or lubricating oil system.Failure of filling pump or lubricating oil system of air compressor can lead to insufficient or interrupted oil supply, quality problem of lubricating oil can lead to poor lubrication effect, mechanical friction heating of compressor becomes the ignition source of fire explosion of air compressor system.
4.Cooling water system failure.Air compressor cooling water, water supply shortage or high temperature cooling effect is not good, ultra high temperature in the compressor, lead to thermal cracking of lubricating oil, the compressor bearings, cylinders, valves, exhaust pipe, cooler, separator, and the place such as buffer tank formed coke, coke is a kind of combustible materials, under the high temperature overheating, mechanical impact, air impact can result in coke combustion, carbon oxide (such as CO, etc.), when the concentration reached the explosion limit, combustion and explosion happens.
