There are currently three types of oils on the market: mineral, semi-synthetic and synthetic, with improved performance and life. Among them, the synthetic type includes two types of base oil synthesis and type V base oil synthesis.
Base oil selection
In compressor oil, the proportion of base oil accounts for 90% or more, so the choice of base oil has become the fundamental of the quality of compressor oil. The choice of base oil contains two meanings, one is which type to choose, and the other is what kind of performance is required.
The first is the choice of type. The synthetic base oil has good oxidation stability, § low carbon tendency, far superior to mineral base oil in performance, and long service life, which is 5-10 times of the service life of mineral oil. Of course, synthetic base oils are expensive, and some are even several times as much as mineral oil.
