First, the air compressor system is short of oil


The oil level of the oil and gas barrel is checked by oil mirror. After the pressure is stopped and the lubricating oil is static, the oil level should be slightly higher than the high oil level mark. The oil level cannot be lower than the low oil level mark during the operation of the equipment. If the amount of oil is found to be insufficient, stop immediately and refuel.


Second, the oil filter failure


If the oil filter is clogged, the bypass valve cannot be opened, which will cause the air compressor oil not to reach the machine head, and the main engine will heat up rapidly due to lack of oil. The oil filter is clogged and the flow is reduced. The air compressor is incompletely removed due to the heat, so that the temperature rises slowly to form a high temperature; after the air compressor is unloaded, the air compressor is heated at a high temperature because the internal pressure of the air compressor is high during loading. The air compressor oil can pass, and the air compressor oil pressure is low after the air compressor is unloaded. The air compressor oil is difficult to pass through the air compressor oil filter, and the flow rate is too small, thereby causing the air compressor to have a high temperature.


Third, the oil separator is blocked


Blockage of the oil and gas separator will cause the internal pressure to rise. If the pressure is too high, it will cause many problems. High temperature is one of them.


Fourth, the air filter is blocked


Blockage of the air filter will cause the air compressor to load too much, and it will be in a loaded state for a long time, causing high temperature. The first problem caused by the general air filter blockage is the reduction in gas production, followed by high temperature performance.


Five, oil problems


The selected lubricants are of poor quality and are not used with specifications. When the lubricating oil exceeds the use time, the oil is deteriorated; the fluidity of the lubricating oil is deteriorated, and the heat exchange performance is degraded, so that the heat of the air compressor head cannot be completely taken away and the high temperature of the air compressor is caused.


Sixth, oil cooler failure


Check if the difference between the inlet and outlet oil temperature is about 10 °C. If it is less than this value, check the surface of the radiator for blockage. If the dirty plug can clean the surface dust with clean compressed air. If the internal pipe is clogged, it can be cleaned with a special syrup.


Seven, the oil valve failure


The air compressor oil shut-off valve is generally a two-position two normally closed solenoid valve. It is turned on when the machine starts, and is closed when the machine is stopped, so as to prevent the oil in the oil and gas barrel from continuing to be injected into the machine head and ejected from the air inlet when the machine is stopped. If the component is not turned on when loaded, the host will heat up rapidly due to lack of oil, and in severe cases, the screw assembly will burn out.


Eight, temperature control valve failure


The temperature control valve is installed in front of the oil cooler, and its function is to maintain the head exhaust temperature above the pressure dew point. If the temperature control valve fails, the lubricating oil may not directly enter the machine head through the cooler, so that the oil temperature cannot be lowered, causing overheating.


Nine, the problem of the nose


The bearing requirements of the screw air compressor head are generally replaced at 20000h, because the clearance and balance of the air compressor are all positioned by the bearing. If the wear of the bearing increases, the heat generated by the air compressor head will increase. Cause the air compressor high temperature.


Ten, is the pressure too high?


The air compressor system pressure is generally adjusted at the factory. If it needs to be adjusted, it should be based on the rated pressure of the nameplate. If the adjustment is too high, the overheating phenomenon is caused due to an increase in the load of the unit.


XI, cooling fan failure


There is a problem with the cooling fan of the air compressor, the fan does not turn, the fan is reversed, and the two fans only open one.
