The dust in the air is blocked in the filter to prevent premature wear of the screw compressor and blockage of the oil separator. Usually, after 1000 hours or one year of operation, the filter element must be replaced. In dusty areas , The replacement interval should be shortened. The filter must be stopped during maintenance. In order to reduce downtime, it is recommended to replace with a new or cleaned spare filter element.
1.Clean filter steps
a. Tap the two ends of the filter element in turn against a flat surface, and the air compressor will remove most of the heavy and dry dust.
b. Use dry air of less than 0.28MPa to blow in the opposite direction of the suction air. The nozzle and the folded paper should be at least 25 mm away, and blow up and down along its length.
c. If there is grease on the filter element, it should be washed in warm water with foam-free detergent, soak the filter element for at least 15 minutes in this warm water, and rinse it with clean water in the hose. Do not use heating to accelerate it. Dry, one filter can be washed 5 times, then discarded and not reused.
d. Put a light inside the filter element for inspection. If it is found to be thin, the pinholes or damaged parts of the Shanghai air compressor should be discarded.
