How to control air compressor oil temperature
If the oil temperature is too high and the oil quality is deteriorated, the air compressor oil will not be lubricated, which will increase the wear of the equipment. The following methods can be used to reduce the oil temperature:
1. When the summer temperature is high, the oil temperature is higher than 50 °C for a long time, and sometimes exceeds the standard limit of 60 °C. The control method is to open the skylights, doors and windows of the plant to ventilate; in the high temperature, regularly use the cooling water to wash the floor of the plant to cool down.
2. The water temperature of circulating cooling water in summer is high, which makes the oil cooler have poor effect and the oil temperature rises. Therefore, cooling measures should be taken in time to reduce the circulating water temperature.
3. If the color of the oil in the oil window is found to be thin and whitish, the oil quality should be checked in time. If the viscosity of the oil is reduced, it is necessary to replace the new oil or add some new oil in time. Usually, the new oil should be replaced within 3 to 6 months.
4. Keep the oil cooler open, and check the effect of the cooler regularly. Usually the oil cooler blockage is also one of the reasons for the increase in oil temperature. Therefore, it is found that the oil cooler should be cleaned up in time to ensure the cooling effect of the oil cooler and the normal operation of the equipment.
5. The oil cooler oil is marked with 13 oil in winter. In the summer, it is 19 oil, and the fuel tank oil is labeled 40 oil. When selecting a lubricant, if possible, choose a good quality lubricant to ensure oil quality and reduce carbon deposits.
