The effect of cold air on the lubricating oil road
The oil circuit system is an important part of the air compressor circulation system. During normal operation, the oil circuit system will generate friction due to the rotation of the machine, and the heat generated by the friction will increase the temperature of the lubricating oil.
Low temperatures are very beneficial for oil system systems that require cooling. However, for spare equipment or air compressors that are not started all the year round, when starting again in low temperature, the oil circuit may be condensed by using lubricating oil due to low temperature, so that the startup will fail.
So it is necessary to check the oil system to see if the oil is in a normal state.
For the storage of lubricating oil, it is generally required to be stored in a room with heating. If it is stored outdoors, it may cause the lubricating oil to freeze and condense because of the low temperature. It cannot be used immediately when needed.
Lubricating oils are flammable materials. Store them away from other materials separately to avoid malfunctions caused by other objects.
