Air compressor filters replacement and precautions
The screw air compressor three filters mainly include: air filter, oil filter, oil separator. Screw air compressors are available in twin screw and single screw. Each filter replacement method is slightly different, so let's talk about it separately.
First, the replacement of the air filter
The dust in the air sucked by the screw air compressor is blocked in the air filter. In order to prevent the screw compressor from being worn prematurely and the fine filter element in the oil separator is blocked, it is usually necessary to clean or replace the air filter after running 500H. Filter element; in dusty areas, the replacement time should be shortened. The filter must be shut down when it is replaced. To reduce downtime, it is recommended to replace it with a new or cleaned spare filter.
1) Face the flat side and alternately tap the two end faces of the filter to remove most of the heavy dry dust.
2) Dry air in a direction opposite to the intake air with dry air of less than 0.28 MPa. The nozzle and the folded (meaning: a part of the object are folded over) are at least 25 mm apart and are blown up and down along the height direction. Permanent magnet variable frequency air compressor can be divided into: low noise, variable frequency, explosion-proof and other air compressors.
3) Check the filter element. If it is found to be thin, pinhole or damaged, it should be discarded.
Second, the oil filter replacement
1) Unscrew the oil filter and discard it. An air compressor is a device used to compress a gas.
2) Carefully clean the filter housing to clear the differential pressure through holes.
3) Patrol the differential transmitter performance. Permanent magnet variable frequency air compressor can be divided into: low noise, variable frequency, explosion-proof and other air compressors.
4) The new filter element is oiled, and the meshing pair of the screw air compressor is composed of a 6-head screw and two 11-tooth star wheels.
5) When installing the filter element, screw it to the contact gasket and then manually tighten it by 1/3 turn.
6) After booting, check for leaks.
Note: The filter element can only be replaced after the compressor has stopped running and the pressure has been released. In addition, hot oil must be taken care of to prevent burns and do not spill oil.
Third, the oil and gas separator filter replacement
1) Remove the connecting hose and copper pipe from the minimum pressure valve.
2) Remove the copper pipe from the return pipe.
3) Remove the cover.
4) Pull out the filter
5) Clean the cylinder.
6) After replacing the filter element, install it in reverse order.
Note: Before installation, the rubber and asbestos pads must be inspected for antistatic properties. When installing, it is necessary to prevent impurities from falling into the oil drum. When installing the return line, it must be ensured that the tube is inserted into the bottom of the filter element.
