Air compressor installation standards and requirements
1. Installation environment layout requirements
In order to meet the needs of development, the equipment room should have room for expansion in the position of the general map.
The air compressor directly inhales from the atmosphere. In order to reduce the possibility of wear, corrosion and explosion of the unit, the machine room must have a certain distance from the place where explosive substances such as explosive, corrosive, toxic gas, dust, etc. are emitted, due to the compressor. The heat dissipation is large, especially in summer, the temperature inside the machine is very high, so the orientation of the machine room should be such that the machine is well ventilated and the sun is minimized.
Although the compressor has a box body, it is strictly forbidden to rain, so the compressor should not be installed in the open air. The compressor room should be a separate building.
The compressor room must be equipped with a fixed fire extinguishing carbon dioxide fire extinguishing device whose manual switch must be placed outside the danger zone. And can be reached at any time. Fire-fighting equipment Carbon dioxide fire extinguishers or powder fire extinguishers should be placed near the target of protection, but should be outside the danger zone.
2, the machine room installation requirements
The ground is preferably a smooth concrete floor. The inner surface of the wall should be white. The base of the compressor should be placed on the concrete floor, and the level of the plane should be no more than 0.5/1000 (mm). And there are grooves around the 200mm from the unit, so that when the unit is parked for oil change, overhaul or flushing the ground, oil and water can flow away from the groove, and the groove size is customized by the user.
The compressor unit is placed on the ground, and the bottom of the box should be well fitted to the ground to prevent vibration and increase noise.
For qualified users, the sound insulation board can be attached to the wall of the equipment room to further reduce noise, but it is not suitable to decorate the wall surface with hard surface materials such as ceramic tiles.
Since the air-cooled compressor is greatly affected by the ambient temperature, the ventilation of the engine room should be good and dry. The heat exchange air can be led out of the air duct or set up with a fan, and the ambient temperature of the compressor is controlled within -5 °C - 40 °C.
The machine room has less dust, clean air, and does not contain harmful gases and corrosive media such as sulfite. According to the nature of your company's processed products, the air inlet should be equipped with a primary filter. The effective area of window circulation should be greater than 3m2
3, power supply and peripheral wiring requirements
The main power supply of the compressor is AC (380V/50Hz three-phase, and the freeze dryer is AC (220V/50HZ). Please confirm the power supply.
The voltage drop cannot exceed 5% of the rated voltage, and the voltage difference between the phases is within 3%.
The compressor power supply must be equipped with an isolating switch to prevent compliance from phase loss.
Check the secondary loop fuse and select the appropriate fuseless cutout based on the power of the compressor.
It is better to use a separate power system for the compressor to avoid parallel use with other power consumption systems. Especially when the power of the compressor is large, the compressor overload may be caused by excessive voltage drop or three-phase current imbalance. The protection device trips.
The grounding wire must be protected against leakage and must not be connected to the air duct or cooling water pipe.
4, the requirements of pipeline installation
The unit air supply port has a threaded connection and can be connected to your air supply line. Please refer to the factory manual for the installation dimensions.
In order to avoid the impact on the whole station or other units during maintenance, and to prevent the reverse flow of compressed air during maintenance, a shut-off valve must be installed between the unit and the gas storage tank.
In order to avoid the influence of gas during the maintenance of the filter, a spare line should be provided on each filter line.
The branch line must be taken from the top of the main line to prevent condensation from flowing into the compressor unit.
The pipeline is as short as possible and straight, reducing elbows and various valves to reduce pressure loss.
5. Ventilation of compressor air pressure system
Regardless of whether the user is using an oil-free or oil-filled machine, and whether the user is using an air-cooled compressor or a water-cooled compressor, the ventilation problem of the air compressor room must be solved. According to our past experience, more than 50% of the failures of air compressors are due to neglect or misunderstanding of this aspect.
When the air is compressed, a large amount of heat will be emitted. If the heat cannot be discharged into the air compressor room in time, the room temperature of the air compressor room will gradually increase, so that the temperature of the air inlet of the air compressor will come. The higher, such a vicious cycle will cause the air compressor exhaust temperature to be high and alarm, and because the density of high temperature air is small, the gas production will be reduced.
